Covid Safety Plan for our Cottage Guests

  • We require all guest to bring their own sheets, blankets, pillows and towels to limit the amount of soft surfaces our guest and  cleaning staff will come in contact with.

  • We encourage (but not require) all guests to bring disposable cups, plates and utensils

  • We use Hospital-grade multipurpose disinfectant for hard, non-porous surfaces 

  • We encourage guests to use hand sanitizer before entering cottages, which are provided at each entrance 

  • We screen all guests before they enter the cottage area with the following questions:

  1. Do you have any of the following symptoms; fever/ chills, cough, shortness of breath, sore throat, difficulty swallowing, decrease of taste, runny or stuffy of unknown cause, unusual headache, digestive issues of unknown cause, muscle aches, extreme tiredness or dizziness.

  2. Has Public Health told you that you should be currently isolating

  3. In the last 14 days have you had close contact with someone who tested positive for Covid 19

  4. In the last 14 days have you travelled outside of Canada.

    **If a Guest answers "YES" to any of these questions, they will be asked to find other accommodations​

  • Contact Tracing, the names and contact information of ALL guests in the cottage will be recorded

  • Current Provincial colour code and list of restrictions will be posted in the office area

  • Social distancing is encouraged and when not possible masks are to be warn in public areas

  • Guest are discouraged from going into the area of other guests cottages

  • One guest at a time in office area with face covering

  • Commonly touched areas in the office are wiped after each guest leaves (desk, POS machine)

  • One guest in the fish cleaning station at a time 

  • Any guest that uses the fish cleaning station must spray area with provided bleach based cleaner when finished with the area

  • We require ALL guests to check in no earlier than 3pm and leave no later than 11am, this gives our disinfectants enough time to sit and work as directed my the manufacturer's instructions

  • Follow Provincial guidelines to number of people allowed in groups.

Please check our guidelines periodically as they may change as recommendations from the Province change regularly.​
